Michael's Message - Please, Snow, Go Away!
Old Man Winter came late this year, and made up for lost opportunities to coat everything with white stuff!
Long time Sequim residents can’t remember us having this much snow since 1996.
I had just moved our family here to Sequim that Labor Day of 1996, and then at Christmas a huge storm hit much like this latest one!
As you found out, due to dangerous roads and conditions in our parking lot and from a hanging gutter full of ice, we were not able to have Shipley Center open for over a week. We close whenever the Sequim School District is closed and we also notify you by email and with Facebook posts. If you “do” facebook and haven’t “liked” our page yet, please do!

We are glad to be back open and serving you in our center and The Café!
Donations to help cover the costs of snow plowing, repairs and to help replace lost revenue during the closure would certainly be welcomed at this time.
Thanks to those who have already sent in some financial support lately. It is very much needed and appreciated.
We hope you have a great and warmer March so you can take advantage of all the exciting trips, The Café, and all the activities provided at the Center.
